To identify a true first pressing, look for specific characteristics:
"Her Majesty" Omission: The track "Her Majesty" should be omitted from the tracklist on both the back cover and the side 2 record label.
Misaligned Apple: The Apple logo on the rear cover should be slightly misaligned (positioned further to the left) beneath the side one track listing, a printing error corrected in later versions.
Matrix Numbers: The runout groove etchings on a first UK pressing typically feature the matrix numbers YEX 749-2 on side 1 and YEX 750-1 on side 2.
Cover Details: The fully laminated cover from the initial print run has a slightly more "zoomed-in" front photo (less sky above the building and less of the zebra crossing in the foreground).
